Michael Deemie Obituary
PEORIA - Walter Michael Deemie (Mike) age 35, of Peoria, IL passed away in the early morning of December 28, 2020. He was born on September 6, 1985 to Walter Deemie and Tammy Sunderland in Peoria IL.
Mike was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Walter (Popo) H. Deemie, Aunt Teresa M. Runyon (Deemie), maternal grandfather Loren Sunderland and Dr. Harry Ores (stepfather)
He is survived by his parents, Walter (Darla) F. Deemie and Tammy Sunderland. Also surviving are his sisters, Tara A. Harmon (Jon), Brianna M. Deemie (Josh); as well as his stepsisters, Christina (Evan) Hickerson, Stephanie Kreichgauer and Erika Helms.
Mike is survived by so many loved aunts, uncles, and beloved cousins.
Mike attended and graduated Stark County High School. After graduating he began working for his family business at River City Demolition as an operator and a laborer. He enjoyed spending time with family attending STL Cardinal games together. The times he spent with Dad and J (Josh Runyon) working together will always be special to Mike. Michael enjoyed golfing and traveling. However, one of Mike's truest passions was and always will be music.... Making music and creating music with his dad in the studio they built together.
Mike will always be remembered as having an amazing heart that was so open to love and caring. He had an infectious smile that brought so much joy to everyone around him. He valued his family and friendships.
In his most recent year Mike found his passion in weight lifting, and he was eager to make many more memories with his family. He will forever & always will be missed.
Please join us at a Celebration of Life from 4 to 8 p.m. January 12th at the Knights of Columbus, 7403 Radnor Rd, Peoria, IL 61615.

Mike Deemie.....man bud I'm so sorry! You were way too young to leave this world! I've known you since I was 12years old and you first moved to Castleton. One of my greatest memories that I hold dear to my heart is that one summer when I was 12 and you and Randy cane to sneak me and my friend out of my house to come kick it with you guys. Y'all left the ladder and told me to jump lol. I was fearless and felt untouchable at that age so I jumped. Broke my leg. Didn't matter wasn't going to ruin the fun. We all had so much fun that night but man my parents were so mad lol. Thank you so much for some of my fondest memories! Fly high buglddy! I'm praying for your family at this time too.

I will remember you with much affection from Cancun, maybe I can not be at your funeral, but I will always carry you present in my soul and heart. today I held a ceremony on the beach for you. so that you always carry Cancun in your heart.
