N. Arlene Caudill
BARTONVILLE - N. Arlene Caudill, 86, of Bartonville passed away at 3:58 a.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018, at UnityPoint Health-Proctor in Peoria, IL.
She was born on December 22, 1931, in Chicago to George and Norma (Gehrig) Gabelhausen. She married Rollie Caudill Jr. on May 17, 1947, in Peoria, IL. He preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Dick Caudill; two brothers, Richard and Jack Gabelhausen; and two sisters, Lois and Davee.
Surviving are three children, Curt (Patty) Caudill of Mapleton, Cindi (Jerry) Stafford of Bartonville and Michele Caudill of Biloxi, MS; daughter-in-law, Susie Caudill of Sparks, NV; nine grandchildren, Amy (Greg) Newman, Craig (Chrissy) Stafford, Nikki (Troy) Holmes, Carrie (Dave) Stafford-Ruttum, Chris (Shawna) Benson, Andy (Tracy) Benson, Jacob (Mandy) Caudill, Joe (fiancé, Carli) Caudill and Jessi Caudill; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, William (Marjean) Gabelhausen; and one sister, Sharon (Jess) Burns.
Arlene worked as a bookkeeper for Caudill Trucking and also for OSF St. Francis Medical Center, UnityPoint Health-Methodist and the Pere Marquette Hotel. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church for 62 years and was currently a member of St. Michael's All Angels Episcopal Church in Peoria.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018, at St. John's Cemetery in Bartonville, IL. Father Waylon Lawrence will officiate.
Memorials can be made to Alpha Park Library or St. Michael's All Angels Episcopal Church.
