“WHISPERS OF THE
WIND”
Like a soft summer breeze, you blew into our world
And the moment was too brief but still you touched us all.
You spoke delicately never given to anger or wrath
Your countenance was gentle and kind
The footprints upon the sand where you walked
Were shallow and evenly spaced
For you trod lightly and were never rushed
We could not contain your rambling spirit
And earth will never capture your wandering soul
May the memories you left travel with us as we sojourn on
And may your name echo eternally on the whispers of the
wind!
