Paul Tiffan Obituary

EAST PEoRiA - Paul W. Tiffan, 60, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of East Peoria, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, in Fort Lauderdale.

He was born May 1, 1947, in Peoria to William and Betty Riggenbach Tiffan.

Surviving are one sister, Sandra (and Dennis) Ackerman of Peoria; one niece, Katie Ackerman; five nephews, Scott (and Lara) Ackerman, Jeff (and Kim) Ackerman, Danny (and Becca) Ackerman, and Tommie and David Ackerman, all of Peoria.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Paul worked for SwissAir Airlines for 30 years and resided in Chicago and New York. He retired in 2000 to Fort Lauderdale.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at Davis Mortuary, Tremont Chapel. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont.

I am saddened learning of Paul's passing. At EPCHS, Paul was a guy you could count on to always have a smile and a kind word.
