ROANOKE - Phillip Lee Tubbs, age 41, of Mills, Pa., stepfather of a Roanoke resident, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016, as the result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born June 14, 1974, in Elkland, Pa., the son of Robbie Lee and Nancy McCaslin Tubbs.
He was employed as an electrician at Dresser-Rand in Wellsville, N.Y.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, cooking his famous secret barbecue chicken, hunting, fishing and the Buffalo Bills.
Phil was a member of the Galeton Moose Riders, the Galeton Moose Lodge and attended First Baptist Church in Ulysses.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa (McGonagle) Tubbs; his daughter, Bobby Jo Tubbs of Mills, Pa.; the family cat, Beyla; stepson, Damien Taft of Alabama; stepdaughter, Samantha Hess (fiance, Adam Hinthorne) of Roanoke, Ill.; sisters, Tammy Tubbs of Selinsgrove, Pa., and Kathy (Daniel) Brown of Galeton, Pa.; paternal grandfather, Robert Baker of Roulette, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepson, Jacob Polston.
Friends are invited to call at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Elkland, Pa., on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., where a memorial service will be conducted following calling hours at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Jason Reed, officiating.
