My special friend,
I will always remember the first day I whispered in your ear and you {unexpectedly} smiled, it was magical. What a moment, what a memory! Instant bond, instant friendship. I will miss our talks, even though you never spoke a word, you said so much to me not only with your eyes and that smile, but with your spirit and your heart. I loved sharing my "secrets" with you. What a beautiful unique friendship to cherish. There were days at work that you tried so hard for me, what an inspiration! FCRC will not be the same, but I know you will be there watching over us. You now have your wings and I have my memories {we sure had some good times didn't we!} Because God has other plans for you it is time for me to let you go, after all you have "places to go, people to see and things to do!" You have been one of the best things in my life and I treasure you. Someday we will met again, but until then I must write one last thing in your notebook.... " I will miss you SO much, I will think of you OFTEN....and I will love you ALWAYS"

Rachel had a wonderful heart and she was a beautiful and inspirational person who showed us not to take things in life for granted. She was a fighter and you could definitely tell she was giving it all she could. She was a girly girl who loved music and could brighten a persons day. I'm thankful that I got to meet her and will remember her forever until we meet again...God Bless her family and we love you Rach!!!

Rachel was a wonderful girl full of love and trust to those who she loved and those who loved her. I cannot express how much sorrow I feel for her passing, because her and I had bonded over the 5 years I've spent with her at RCC. When I gave Rachel her first haircut by my hands, I can remember discussing it with her and saw her eyes light up when she was able to communicate how she wanted her hair cut. Rachel also had a great sense of humor, and I can remember her cracking up at my random jokes and thoughts on certain situations. I cherish the memories I had with her and am glad that her and I could be such positive influences in each other's lives. Knowing Rachel has made me a better person, and allowed me to have a more positive outlook on life and to appreciate the small things more than I did before. I love you Rachel, you will forever be in my thoughts. I will miss you, my beautiful and wonderful friend.

Beth,
Your "family" at Renaissance shares in the loss of such a beautiful angel, Rachel. She touched soooo many lives along her journey. It was chance "God" who put us together in such a time of need. We will be forever grateful to him for the opportunity to care for and to have known such a wonderful girl. We often ask why? We now know why. She taught us soooo many lessons. She taught us to be thankful for the problems we have. She dealt with much bigger problems with such strength. She taught us to live life to the fullest. She taught us to love our children, to hug them, to tell them that you love them, and to be thankful for the problems that we endure with them. She strengthened our love and compassion. Most of all, she taught us to live each day with our family and friends like it is your last, because you never know when there will be no tomorrow. These lessons will live with us forever. And you Beth, have taught us the true meaning of dedication and unconditional love. Your strength is incredible. You are an inspiration! Rachel was sooooo lucky to have such a wonderful mother. We will be forever grateful for your trust and faith in us to care for your precious daughter. You and Rachel will always have a special place in our hearts. We love you and will never forget you.
