Dear Isaacson Family:
We are sending our sympathy to each of you at this time. It is hard to believe someone so active can really be gone.
His mother is a cousin of mine and I use to watch Dick grow up in those long ago years as a mere child. He was so cute with his two dear little sisters.

Mr. Ike was my favorite teacher, he was funny and made learning fun. I just saw him in May when it was open house for incoming Freshman, he looked at my son and said "Football?" I said nope bowling, and he laughed. It had been almost 25 years since I had seen him, and we were seeing who had the most stents! I won! He will be greatly missed! I was in the class of 1980.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of both my teacher and friend. Ike had a way of making you think about the issues and go far behind simple memorization of people and dates. When I started teaching history myself, he was incredibly helpful in sharing ideas and materials. Certainly, he will be missed by many and my thoughts are with his family.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Coach Issacson's passing. As a former coach and teacher in District 150 I got a chance to know him and what kind of man he was. I always admired him for this, for the kind of teacher he was, and the kind of coach he was. Anyone who ever met him was better for it and heaven is a better place with him there. God bless his memory. My prayers are with him and his loved ones.
