I attended Roosevelt Junior High School with Russell. Russ called me "Hulting", and he visited our home many times. I considered him a dear friend but "lost track" of him during high school, and unfortunately our "paths" never crossed during our adult years.
My Sincere Sympathy to Russell's family, and many friends.

To the family of Russell Underwood, I was sadden when I read of his passing, John 3;16...For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believers in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. There is comfort in us knowing that Russell believethe in God therefore he will have everlasting life. May God's peace be with you.

Russell was the goodwill ambassador of Peoria. He always gave you the best greeting when he saw you. I will forever be looking for him at the mall.
When we were part of the Sunshine Band I would see him, his sister Juanita and Grandma Holt on their way to church and I knew it was time to fall in line.
Russell will be missed. My Condolence to all his family.
