DELAVAN - S. Vince Cain Jr., 73, of Delavan, formerly of Peoria, passed away at 2:45 am Friday, September 16, 2016, at his home.
He was born January 25, 1943, in Peoria to Sidney Vincent and Josephine Patricia Biggins Cain Sr. He married Tiffany Jean Mooney on December 23, 1970, in Peoria, and she passed away October 12, 2010.
Surviving are three sons, Stephen Cain of Delavan, Tim (Sarah) Cain of Morton, Matt (Jeanine) Cain of Granite City; one daughter, Katie (Ivan) Miller of Pekin; four grandchildren; two brothers, D.P. (Sharie) Cain of Peoria, Dick (Sue) Cain of Peoria; three sisters, Maureen (Ray) Wetzel of Dunlap, Sheila (Dale) Oakley of Mexico, and Kathy Murray of Chicago; and his beloved dog, Moose.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Vince owned and operated CainCo Cleaning and was a member of Delavan Baptist Church.
He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
Vince enjoyed watching movies and UFC fights and spending time with his family.
Cremation has been accorded. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am Monday, September 19, 2016, at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont. Pastor Lee Iseley will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 am Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Peoria at a later date.
