EAST PEORIA - Scott William Willock, 56, of East Peoria, formerly of Peoria, passed away at 10:15 am. Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on July 7, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wis., and was raised by his mother, Marcia, and adoptive father, Lance Willock.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Sadler, and one brother, Steven Willock.
He is survived by his mother, Marcia Snyder of Peoria; adopted father Lance (Rosemary) Willock of Stuart, Fla.; one sister, Lynn (Mike Cheesman) Willock of Peoria; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Scott worked at P.A.R.C. and C.W.T.C., doing various jobs until leaving in 2007.
He was active in Special Olympics, competing in basketball and baseball. He enjoyed collecting radios and watches, Cardinals baseball, and attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Peoria.
He lived with joy and love and died in the arms of his Lord. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to all the staff and caregivers at Fondulac Health Care Center who cared for Scott during his stay and to Harbor Light Hospice for their care during his illness.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at Holy Family Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Burial of the urn will be in Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to P.A.R.C. or to C.W.T.C.

Marcia and family...so sorry to hear of Scott's passing. I used to babysit for him in high school...I was a friend of Steve's also. Scott was sweet and loving...I enjoyed watching him and your daughter, Lynn. My heart goes out to you at this sad time.....Scott and Steve are together in heaven.

To the Willock I am so sorry for the lost of Scott I had the pleasure of knowing Scott when he was living at Hartrick house.I was the dietary tech at the time, Scott left a lasting impression in my heart.
