EAST PEORIA - Stacey Ann Mandrell, age 51, of East Peoria passed away on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria.
Stacey was born on April 15, 1963, in Peoria, Ill., to Kenneth and Mildred (Ever-ett) Guilliams. She married Scott Mandrell in 1979, and even though they separated in 1986, he remained very close to her.
Surviving are her children, Eddie Mandrell and Nichole Mandrell, both of East Peoria, and Michael and Nathan Mandrell, both of Morton, Ill.; her grandchildren, Scott Fortner, Michael Fuller Jr., Mikyla Fuller, Logan Mandrell and Parker Mandrell; two brothers; her half sister; and her beloved dogs.
Stacey was a very kind and loving person and was always willing to help someone in need. She had a lot of friends that were near and dear to her.
She worked for Walmart for 15 years, and she enjoyed playing bingo and crafting.
She loved three things in life: her grandchildren, her M&Ms, and HARLEYS!
Cremation rites will be accorded, and a memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria.
Memorials may be made to the family, and online condolences may be made through www.remmertfuneralhome.com.

To the family....Stacey fought the fight long and hard now her battle is won, no more pain the victory is won . She's got her wings and flying high just watching over all of you from the sky. Don't ever feel like she's not nearby because all you have to do is look up to the sky she'll be passing by. Sleep well Stacey we'll be seeing you. .Love you RIP Thoughts and prayers to you family .

God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
and whispered,
"Come to Me"
With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you pass away
and although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best
Until We Meet Again My Dearest Friend. Love You Stacey.
