DUNLAP - Tiffany Marie Lampley, 35, of West Frankfort, Ill., the daughter of a Dunlap woman, passed away at 12:52 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
She was born May 30, 1979, in Peoria, Ill., to James and Rebecca (Andell) Potter.
Tiffany grew up in Pontiac, Ill., and was a 1997 graduate of Pontiac Township High School. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2001, where she received a degree in special education.
Tiffany met Casey Lampley while attending EIU and they wed on June 3, 2006. He survives with their smart and beautiful children: Logan, who is age 7, and Olivia, who is age 4.
Tiffany was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile and infectious laugh always lit up the room. She was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and Christian.
Tiffany's passion was her children, and she was very involved in their activities at St. John's School. She loved nothing more than entertaining her children, family and friends.
Tiffany was also a very avid photographer with blossoming talent. She provided many people some of their most cherished photos.
Tiffany was a fighter and an inspiration to those who experienced her battle with cancer. We are all better people for having known her, and she will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Casey Lampley of West Frankfort; children, Logan and Olivia Lampley, at home; father, James Potter of Pontiac, Ill.; mother, Rebecca Andell of Dunlap, Ill.; brother, Jamie Potter of Pontiac, Ill.; sisters, Theresa Slager of Carmi, Ill., and Rachel (Les) Giffhorn of Washington, Ill.; sister-in-law, Misha Mays of Mount Vernon, Ill.; in-laws, Steve and Daredan Lampley of Marion, Ill., and James and Jamelyn Dodson of Mount Vernon, Ill.; and grandparents, Julanne Lewis Andell, Eugenia Shutts, William Bill (Hazel) Lampley, James and Freda Dodson and Gerald and Colleen Pyron.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, Sept. 13, 2014, at St. John's Catholic Church in West Frankfort, Ill., with Father Eusebius Mbidoaka officiating. Visitation was Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, Ill., from 5 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in West Frankfort, Ill.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Catholic School in West Frankfort, Ill.
Tiffany would want donations to be made to her children's school, which she and Casey cherish so much. Envelopes will be available and accepted at the funeral home and church. The school is St. John the Baptist Catholic School, 702 E. Poplar St., West Frankfort, IL 62896.

Becky, I know we are but strangers in life, but when I read the obituary of your beloved treasure daughter, Tiffany, my tears fall. I loved her smile and the description of who she was on this earth.
