Waveadell Briggerman Obituary
PEORIA - Waveadell Lois Briggerman, 101, of Peoria passed away Friday, February 8, 2019, in Peoria.
She was born on April 18, 1917, in Muncie, IL, to George and Lola (Plotner) Davis. Waveadell graduated from Oakwood Township High School in Muncie in 1935. Subsequently, in 1937, she graduated from Aterback's Business College in Danville, IL, having completed her course work in its secretarial and stenographic program. She married John Leslie Briggerman on January 21, 1939, in Peoria, and he preceded her in death in 1988.
Surviving are her son, Steven (Kathryn) Briggerman of Washington, D.C.; two granddaughters, Lauren (Jeffrey Horwitt) Briggerman of Arlington, VA, and Abigail Briggerman of Denver, CO; and two great-granddaughters, Lila and Vivienne Horwitt, both of Arlington, VA.
Waveadell worked as a secretary for the Peoria School District, retiring in 1980. She was an active member of Union Congregational Church, which later became Parkview Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She was a skilled pianist and organist and continued to play throughout her life.
Cremation will be accorded and a celebration of life will be on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 4 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.

So Sorry to hear of Aunt Waveadell's death, I remember her fondly from all the family get togethers as we were growing up. Fun to be around and later when we got to Peoria our visit would include a visit with breakfast at Bob Evans usually. She was always interested in the family and their doings. I'll miss her.
