Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. It sounds like William had a full life!
This might sound odd but I was googling my grandfather, Ennio Arboit, and came across this obituary . As you might know, he died at a very young age(35). I also had the honor of attending the Greater Peoria Hall of Fame with my grandmother, Dolores in 1983, when I was a freshman in high school. I have fond memories of meeting so many of my grandfather's players! They were all so kind and complimentary of him, which for a young girl who never had a chance to meet her grandfather, was so special.
I was honestly touched you mentioned him in the obituary and just wanted to say thank you.
Again, my condolences to your family.
With much sympathy,
Karen Arboit Nolta

My sympathy goes to the Seitz family. Bill was my seventh grade teacher and my coach in eighth grade when we went undefeated in flag football and basketball. He was a real motivation to me in sports. Had some nice visits with Bill and Helen in the 1990's.
God bless

He was a good teacher to all of us shown here as well as thousands of others. The last day of school in 8th Grade he told us all that from that point on we were to address him as "Bill" NOT Mr. Seitz. I stopped at Sterling one day while in Peoria from California just to say "Hi". He was as warm as always. Sadly that was 1982, and the last time I saw him. Even though I am now 74, I remember so fondly my days at Whittier of which he was a major part.

Dear Mike, Danny, Bill, Mary Ann, Steve, and David,
Please accept our condolences regarding Bill.
Growing up with all of you in the 60's and having Bill and Helen to keep an eye on all of us was a blessing.
Great memories of Bill and all of you.
Love,

Mr. Seitz was my principle at Sterling Grade School. Thank you for being such a good principle and a good person! You made Sterling a great school. With fond memories...rest in peace.
