Arthur Peters Obituary
Born on Dec. 20, 1949, in Simpson, W.Va., he was the son of the late Henry H. and Zona (Duley) Peters and lived in Monroe County most of his life.
He was a welder and steel fabricator at Excel Storage Products, East Stroudsburg.
A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America Local 108.
He is survived by his companion of 39 years, Edith Mosier of Easton; Edith's daughter, Shirley Ann Owens, and granddaughter, Samantha Owens, both of Stroudsburg; sister-in-law, Patricia LaBar of Palmerton; two nieces, Tammy LaBar Hoffman of Palmerton and Brenda LaBar Bogart of Saylorsburg; his sisters, Rachel Norton and her husband, Sonny, Jane Pfund and her husband, Harry, Stacey Peters and Ruth Ann Peters all of Warren, Ohio, and Maggie Peters of Fairmont, W.Va., and Margie Williamson and her husband, William of Niles, Ohio; his brother, Truman Peters and his wife, Yvonne, of North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by two sisters; and three brothers.
There will be a viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 18, followed by funeral services at 10 a.m., at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg. Burial will follow in Stroudsburg Cemetery.

Sonny was a good guy. Always nice and when we were kids he was are neighbor and he would take us to wallabys and get junk food or whatever. He will be missed.
