Dana L. Weaver, 85, of Belvidere N.J., died on Friday, May 5, at Warren Hospital in Philipsburg, N.J. She was the wife of the late Dr. Paul U. Weaver, who died in 1981.
Born on Sept. 3, 1921, in Warren, N.J., she was the daughter of Paul and Anne Larason.
A graduate of Grove City College, she worked as an elementary school teacher for many years, a substitute school teacher and worked for the Nutrition Center for the Aging.
She was a member of Belvidere United Methodist Church for 22 years, where she sang in the choir for years and remained active donating her time and talents for various fundraising events.
She is survived by her only son, Paul F. Weaver of Stroudsburg, and her three granddaughters: Brianna, Nicole and Kristen Weaver. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 13, at East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church in East Stroudsburg.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I worked with Dana for about a year with Home Instead. I am very sorry about your loss. She will always have a special spot in my heart, sa well as my daughters who had the privlidge of meeting her. Again, I want to say that we are very sorry to hear about her passing.
