Dawn Farrell Obituary

Dawn M. Farrell, 49, of RD 6 Stroudsburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, at Mercy Hospital in Scranton. She was the wife of Michael G. Farrell. They were married 25 years.

Born on July 22, 1953, in Woodhaven, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Marlin and Elizabeth (Kerestesy) Tawzer.

For the past 10 years, she was the account clerk at West Milford Municipal Utilities Authority in West Milford, N.J.

She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville; the Daughters of the American Revolution, Chinkchewunska Chapter in Sussex, N.J.; and the Daughters of the Union Veterans of the Civil War in Pennsylvania.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by one son, Zachariah Farrell of West Milford, N.J.; one daughter, Rebecca Farrell of West Milford, N.J.; and two sisters, Diane Paolillo of St. Augustine, Fla., and Grace Stumpf of Centereach, N.Y.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Tannersville. The Rev. Father Richard Czachor will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville.

Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at Donald N. Gower Funeral Home, Route 209, Gilbert.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Michael Farrell, RD 6 Box 6227-D, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
