Donna Strouse Obituary

Donna Hahn Strouse, 58, of East Stroudsburg entered into God's loving hands on Tuesday, March 21, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born on Dec. 13, 1947, in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Frederick H. Hahn and Doris Butz Hahn.

She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in East Stroudsburg.

Donna was a devoted mother, a loving sister and a kind, warm, friendly person who was adored by her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Matthew Hahn of East Stroudsburg; her two brothers, Frederick L. Hahn and his wife, Elizabeth, of Stroudsburg and Steven F. Hahn and his wife, Deborah, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; her three sisters: Carol Hahn Milius and her husband, Howard, of Sugarland, Texas, Beverly Hahn Singer and her husband, Bret Christopher, of Stroudsburg and Sharon Hahn Ace and her husband, Elwood Timothy, of East Stroudsburg; her goddaughter, Samantha Hahn, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The family would like to give thanks to Howard Kindred and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Transplant Support Group for their great friendship and help over the past several years.

A private Christian service for family and friends was held. Cremation was private and at the convenience of the family.

The family has requested that any memorial contributions in Donna's name be made to the Northeastern Pennsylvania Transplant Support Group, NEPATSG, RR8, Box 8585M, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.

Matthew, we are so sadden by the lost of your mother and a dear friend of ours. Donna was and always will be an angel. Now she suffers know more. She will be with you now forever Matthew,watching and caring as always. She will be missed by those who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless you in your time of sorrow.
