Eleanor M. Flaherty, 94, of Effort, passed away on Friday, February 12 in the Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort.
She was the wife of the late Frank J. Flaherty.
Born in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of James and Mary (Paterka) Dolanski.
She had been a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tobyhanna.
She is survived by four children, James Flaherty of Scranton, Martin Flaherty of Reeders, Frank Flaherty of Effort and Kathy Carney of Reeders; six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place in the H. G. Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg.
The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, is in charge of arrangements.
