Grace Besly Obituary

Grace K. Hanna Besly, 93, of Long Pond, died Tuesday evening, Nov. 14, at Stroud Manor, East Stroudsburg.

Born on Oct. 15, 1913, in Gouldsboro, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Stella Lester Stout, and lived in the Blakeslee and Mount Pocono area all of her life.

She was a ILGWU worker for over 30 years, working at the blouse factory in Tobyhanna.

Grace belonged to the Pocono Lake Senior Citizens.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Stout of Long Pond; grandchildren Debra Wade of Tobyhanna, Lisa Stout of Long Pond and LeRoy Stout of Lansford; great grandchildren Crystal Miller of Stroudsburg, John Heckman of Tobyhanna, Del and Jeremy Harrington of Long Pond and Heaven and Theresa Stout of Lansford; great-great-grandchildren Jeffery Hunsinker of Pocono Summit, Rory Miller of Stroudsburg and Katrina Heckman of Stroudsburg; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Barney" Hanna; a daughter, Janet Schuler; a son, Charles Hanna; and a great grandson, LeRoy Stout Jr.

Private funeral services took place at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg, with the Rev. Rudy DeRosa officiating. Burial was in Pocono Lake Cemetery.
