Joseph Bartlo Obituary

Joseph Alan Bartlo, 44, of Mount Pocono, died on Sunday afternoon, Aug. 12, at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg.

Born on Jan. 22, 1963, in Livonia, Mich., he was a son of Constance (Kabalka) Bartlo of Mount Pocono and the late Leonard Bartlo. He lived in Monroe County since 1996.

He was a meteorologist who worked for A-1 Snow Removal and Land Care in Ann Arbor, Mich.

He attended the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Poconos in Stroudsburg, enjoyed fishing and was an avid runner.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Frank Bartlo of Detroit, Mich., and Mark Bartlo of Novi, Mich.; an uncle and aunts and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15, from the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Poconos, 920 Ann St., Stroudsburg, PA 18360, with the Rev. Jim Bridges officiating. Cremation took place at the H.G. Smith Crematory in Stroudsburg.
