Kevin Swider Obituary

Kevin Chester Swider, 25, of East Stroudsburg, died on Saturday, July 22, in Denver, Colo.

Born on Aug. 15, 1980, in Flemington, N.J., he was the son of Chester and Nora nee Gilmore Swider of East Stroudsburg and had been a resident of East Stroudsburg for the past 25 years.

A graduate of East Stroudsburg High School, he went on to attend Louisiana Tech University.

He had been a pilot for Great Lakes Airlines for one year.

Kevin was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, East Stroudsburg.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 31, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Dennison Avenue and Burmont Road, Drexel Hill. Burial will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. Monday, until the time of service in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Ave., Drexel Hill, PA 19026.

I met Kevin in Cheyenne when he was in ground school for Lakes. My Captain and I took the group of students out for a study break when we were there on an overnight. Very nice young gentleman. My condolences.
