Marian Johns of Venice, Florida passed away on June 29th, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Johns in 2006, Her sons Michael Johns in 2011 and Barry Johns in 2020, and her daughter Deborah Johns in 2011.
She leaves behind 2 sons, Elmer Lusk and his wife Mary Lou of Cape May NJ, and Andrew Johns and his husband Patrick Barrett of Easton, Pa. She also leaves behind 2 Daughters-in-law, Shirley Johns of Venice, Fl and Debbie Johns of Stroudsburg, Pa. and 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren .
Marian worked many jobs during her life, including a bakery in Philadelphia, house keeping staff at East Stroudsburg University, a textile factory in East Stroudsburg, and as a home health aide in Venice Fl.
She was a member of the Salvation Army ,Venice corps, for over 25 years.
There will be no funeral service as her wish was to be cremated.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Salvation Army 1051 Albee Farm Rd, Venice, FL 34285

My deepest sympathy to Marions family. I remember the whole family when we all lived in East Stroudsburg. They were the kindest neighbors with the best sense of humor. God bless you all and may he give you peace and strength in your time of sadness.
