What I remember most about Mike was his patience under stress. And then he'd reach for the tums. When he ran out he go looking in my desk for them, and I'd do the same.
I remember how good he looked in a tux and how proudly he wore one. His love of his family, a bottle of Bud, his hunting trips (even though he never got anything)and neetness. Not necessarily in that order.
His direction and quite demure will be soley missed.

Michael has left such a large hole in our hearts. He was a wonderful Manager. Just ask the CB Morristown agents. I keep looking up at his office for guidance - I just have to look much higher up. God Bless you friend and your special family!!

In high school, he was never called Mike; but, lovingly referred to as "Soup" - we weren't very creative in the 60's. Although everyone knew he was the best looking guy in our class, he was the only one who never seemed to be phased by that. He was blessed with a great deal of athletic ability - he never dropped a pass - and he always had a smile or laugh when he spoke. I'm glad I got to see him the last couple times he visited Florida, and now, wish it would have been more frequent. My heart goes out to Donna and all Mike's family. I will always remember Soup!

What everyone Knew about Mike Campbell:
He was a snappy dresser, He was neat and organized, although it is easy to be organized if you don't keep anything! He was a hardworking man dedicated to his career. He was a man of integrity who loved his wife and his family.
What those close to Mike knew:
He wasn't as patient as he was compassionate. There were certain lines you shouldn't cross. He hated Bertrand's Island, but would do anything else to make a child smile. Thank you was enough for him, but if you wanted to pay him back or return a favor you earned his respect.
What only I know about Uncle Mike:
That somehow the memories of how he made me feel safe and loved and worthy will have to cary me through until I see him again!

To Donna,Leijun,Michael and all the Family: I'm very saddened to hear about Mike's passing. My thoughts are with you all right now. I met Mike back in 1979/80 as a result of a sales call for Shaklee Vitamins. I liked Mike the minute I spoke to him on the phone. He was a NICE guy - just the opposite of what I thought successful people were at the time. He left a great impression on me and I will always be grateful. Thru him and then Donna, I met some of the nicest people in my life. God bless you Mike - your great spirit lives on in all that knew you.

Gosh, I confess that I have not maintained contact with nor have I thought much about Mike Campbell for quite some time now. That being said.....He was a great guy and a friend from my/our youth in Barrett township. I remember his willingness to let me borrow and ride his Vespa scooter, I remember when he and Donna began dating and fell in love. It remember when we we caddies together @ Skytop! Praise God for his life and it's my prayer now that the God of Heaven will comfort his wife and children and strengthen them as they move into this next phase of their lives.
Grace & God's peace,
Rev. Blaine Gravel
