Michael Milillo Obituary

Michael M. Milillo, 77, of Arrowhead Lake, died Monday, Oct. 7, with his family at his side. He was the husband of Margaret (Bowers) Milillo.

Born in Bronx, N.Y., Michael lived most of his life in Brooklyn. He was the son of the late Onofrio and Lucia (Amoruoso) Milillo.

Until his retirement, he was employed by the Hess Corp. and worked on tugboats throughout the New York area. He was a United States Navy veteran who served on the Battleship USS NY during World War II.

He was of the Catholic faith and was an active member of the Arrowhead Lake Seniors.

In addition to his wife, Margaret, he is survived by three sons: Michael Milillo of Jonas, Vincent Milillo of Gouldsboro, and Frank Milillo of Mount Pocono; two daughters, Lucille Dengel of Smithtown, N.Y. and Laura Foeppel of East Northort, N.Y.; three brothers: Vincent James Milillo of St. Petersburg, Fla., Vito Milillo of Bellmore, N.Y., and Frank Milillo of Schenectady, N.Y.; two sisters, Angelina Johnson of Huntington, N.Y. and Mary Crocitto of Lake George, N.Y., eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Father Anthony Urban will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at St. Elizabeth's Church, Route 115 in Bear Creek. Cremation will follow with cremains to be entombed at Pine Lawn Memorial Park, Long Island, N.Y.

There will be viewings from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 and 390 in Paradise Valley and 10:30 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at church.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the VNA Hospice, 502 Independence Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
