Michael D. Santana Jr. 43 of Tobyhanna, Pa. passed away on Monday July 6, 2020. Born in New York City, N.Y. he was the son of Diana Colon of Bethlehem, Pa. Michael was a resident of the Tobyhanna area for the past 22 years and prior to that of New York.
He was a retired Navy Military Seal and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his mother Diana he is also survived by a daughter Katlin Santana of Bethlehem, a brother Jonathan Felton, and 2 sisters: Lisa Santana and Precious Reid.
There will be a viewing on Sunday July 12, 2020 from 2-4:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. Cremation will follow the services.

No need to thank me, I could never forget your brother, he had a huge impact on my life and taught me so much. He always spoke so highly of you as well! I am so thankful to all of Michael's Friends who keep his memory alive. Thank you for remembering my brother Meg. Thank you for your kind words!
A year later and it isn't any easier - everyday has been a struggle for all of us he left behind. I miss you everyday brother!!! So much I wish we could still share.

Michael was my best friend since birth. We were twins but a year apart. He was the best older brother in the world!! His love was healing, his words so powerful, you believed in yourself after speaking with him. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't feel the greatest loss and pain of losing my life.
Mikie, I will ALWAYS love you...I loved you more than life itself and now I am so lost without you.

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart aches for your family. I met Michael just shy of a year ago and we spoke almost everyday. Michael was such a wonderful person and could always make you laugh in any given circumstance and was always willing to help anyone. This past June, Michael invited me to take a short hike with him...there was nothing short about it, we walked for miles through the state park, him laughing at the fact knowing it was anything but short and I was completely exhausted. Along the way we met a few others who were lost. Michael has them join us and showed them how to exit the trails and gave them a ride back to their car in the town over. I will pray that your family finds peace in this difficult time. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul.

Ive know Mike for 22 years of my life. Since day one we clicked. When he needed me, I was there and when I need him he was there, no questions asked. Truly one of my closest friends I've ever had. My brother! In life we had no handbook, we pretty much learned how to be men ourselves. The great times we had I will always Cherish. The earth lost a great man, but heaven gained a great angel! I love you my brother.
