Mr. Conklin which I personally called him, always said to please call me "Ray". He was an neighbor of mine when I lived in Albrightsville. Although I only knew him for a short 10 years or so I thought of him as my grandfather. He was very loving and kind man who I will miss greatly. He loved his big family so much. Every time I would visit him he would always be so proud to show me photos of family gatherings and other special photos that were so dear to him. My husband, Kevin, would plow his driveway when it snowed. Then when he was done plowing, Ray would step outside and join him for a smoke and they would talk about their day. When I would see the snow coming done I would quickly say to my husband don't forget about Ray's driveway and make sure that his driveway was taken care of first and foremost. I still can't believe he is gone. But now he's at peace in a better place, I hope, with his wife and other loved ones. Hope to see him again when it's time for me to go to that wonderful place in the sky. Bye Ray, we love you.
