Robert E. Serfass lll (Bobby) 53, of East Stroudsburg entered into eternal rest on Thursday July1, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Pocono.
Born in East Stroudsburg on May 22, 1968 to Robert E. & Donna M. Serfass.
Bobby was retired from West Rock, Delaware Water Gap. He was also a butcher by trade working for Mignosi's Shur Save and also Ehrlich's Market.
He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed fishing and hunting trips with his mom, dad and son most of all. To anyone that knew Bobby they know family was everything.
Surviving him are his wife Heather (Counterman) of Allentown. His son Robert Nathan of East Stroudsburg.
His father Robert E. Serfass of Stroudsburg. His sister Robin Furler of Jim Thorpe. Two nieces Amber & Crystal Furler of Jim Thorpe. His in laws Vicki & Kenneth Vetesy of East Stroudsburg.
Sister in law Makayla Vetesy and brothers in law Nathan and Kenneth Vetesy all of East Stroudsburg. A nephew Nathan Vetesy Jr of East Stroudsburg. Two very special cousins who were more like sisters, Michelle Smith and Jennifer Mezzina both of Stroudsburg.
He's also survived by many aunts, uncles ,and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Donna.
Bobby was a man like no other a gentle giant. He would help anyone he could. We will cherish every moment and memory we shared with him.
A public visitation will be held on Tuesday July 6, 2021 from 6pm-8pm then again on Wednesday July 7, 2021 from 10am -12pm with services immediately following all at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home Inc. 27 Washington St. East Stroudsburg PA 18301. Burial will follow at the Prospect Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made either to the funeral home to offset cost or to the National Kidney Foundation.

So very saddened to see Bobby's passing. May God guide and strengthen his family during their time of grieve. Having known Bobby's parents through my sister (Linda) for many years this is heartbreaking. May he rest peacefully with his Mother, Donna.

Bob and family it is just beyond words, the loss of Bobby, such a great man! We knew him his entire life and he has been taken to soon! I guess Donna needed him!
