Rudolph Ronay Obituary
Rudolph J. Ronay, 72, of Stroudsburg, died Monday, Nov. 22, at the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg.
Born in Jersey City, N.J., he was the companion of Irene Stein-Luparello of Stroudsburg.
Rudolph was a resident of the Stroudsburg area for the past 15 years and prior to that, he lived in the Bronx, Westchester, N.Y. area. He was retired from the Management Department of The E.F. Hutton Co. of New York City, where he was employed for 25 years, retiring in 1988.
He attended St. Lukes Roman Catholic Church of Stroudsburg and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his companion Irene, he is survived by two daughters, Christina Ronay of Columbia, Wis. and Lisa Ronay of Connecticut; and a son, Rudolph Ronay of Palmdale, Calif.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, from St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Stroudsburg, with the Rev. Fr. Thomas D. Mclaughlin as celebrant. Burial will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, 23 N. Ninth Street, Stroudsburg.
