Veronica Frank Obituary

Veronica M. Frank
02/05/2021
Veronica M. Frank, 94, of Tobyhanna, passed away on Friday Feb 5th at Allied Hospice. She was the loving and devoted wife of Werner Frank.
Born in The Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Reilly) Stevens and Thomas Stevens.
As a young lady, she graduated from Walton High School with high honors. She met the love of her life and her soul-mate Werner at a double date set up by a friend in NYC after work one evening. Together, they set out on a life-long quest of learning, living life, travel and adventure and of being of service and support to others. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Alcoa as a marketing and communications manager. Veronica was an active member of St. Ann's in Tobyhanna, the Pocono Country Place Senior Club and VFW Post 3448. She was also an active member of the Coolbaugh Township Planning Commission and was a volunteer with the Route 196 "Make Pennsylvania Beautiful" clean up committee. Veronica was a volunteer at the Ecumenical food pantry and served as a board member of her HOA. Veronica was a true animal lover and very supportive of their causes.
Veronica is survived by her brother in law, Stephen Frank of Naples, FL, her nephew, Richard Frank of Vero Beach, FL and her nieces Maureen Nee of Southbury, CT and Jennifer Johnson of Raleigh, NC.
Veronica shall forever be remembered as a woman of strength, conviction, courage, integrity, intellect and wit.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10am in St. Maximallien's Church, Pocono Pines. Arrangements by Thomas J Hughes Funeral Home, Inc., 1240 St Ann's St, Scranton.

Ronnie will be missed. She was an active member of our community. May she Rest in Peace. She is now with the love of her life Werner. We enjoyed many years of friendship with Ronnie and Werner having served on many committees with them. Members of the VFW 3448 we enjoyed the Friday night dinners.

I loved Ronnie and Werner. We spent many hours together doing the street cleanups and other projects in our community. They are greatly missed.

Ronnie’s love of life I will always remember. They inspired many people both near and far away from the poconos. God bless.
