BROWN WOLFE, 81

WINTER HAVEN - Mrs. Patsy Jean Brown Wolfe, age 81, died Sunday (Nov. 22, 2009) from COPD.
Born in Winter Haven on Aug. 24, 1928, she was a Winter Haven High School class of 1946 graduate where she was a member of the tennis team and a cheerleader. She attended Murray State College, Murray, KY. On Oct. 14, 1951, she married Charlie Wolfe who predeceased her on Feb. 15, 1981. Mrs. Wolfe worked for Swift and Company, and co-owned with her husband, Wolfe's Sporting Goods. She worked for Jim Bagley Bait Company for more than 25 years before retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Winter Haven High School Reunion Committee. Mrs. Wolfe was an avid outdoors woman who loved hunting and fishing.
She is survived by her son Charles "David" Wolfe; daughter Ann Elizabeth Wolfe Combee; grandchildren: Brittani Wolfe Newton, Lori Ann Wolfe, Madison Ann Combee & Charles "Charlie" Randal Combee; great grandchildren: Shyann Newton & Skyler Newton; niece Gayle Day Finster; nephew Douglas "Skip" N. Day, Jr.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 from 10-11 a.m. followed by the service at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Winter Haven, FL. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, Winter Haven.
