NEW ALBANY - NEW ALBANY - Barbara Lee Kidd, 76, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family. A devoted grandmother and mother, her door was always open to everyone at any time. Renowned for her delicious banana pudding and sweet tea, she worked at Brookwood Furniture for 38 years.

Survived by her son, Scotty Kidd (Amy), her daughter, Sasha Ellis (Nathan), her grandchildren, Carson (Elly) Ellis and Avery Ellis, her sisters, Faye Mays and Pat Smitherman, and her brother, Larry Young (Kay).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert "Hub" Kidd; her mother, Frances Wise; her father, Wiley Lee Young; three sisters, Melvie Myrick, Blanch Tackett, and Ollie Vaughn; and three brothers, JW Nubbie, Gene Vaughn, and Jerry Young.

Services will take place on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc at 2 PM, with Bro. Jeff Roberson officiating. Visitation begins at 11 AM and continues until the service. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Carson Ellis, Lane Rowan, Shane Gregory, Kerry Stout, Nathan Stubblefield, Frankie Paepke, Billy Tackett, and Jimmy Kidd.

Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Myrick, Ray Smith, Trevor Gray, and Terry Oaks.
