James Sanborn Obituary

James Henry Sanborn passed peacefully Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the age of 82, with his wife at his bedside. Born June 15,1939 to Henry and Doris Sanborn of Wolfeboro N.H. James and his wife Donna have lived in Gulf Cove, Port Charlotte for over 27 years. He had many hobbies including hunting and fishing in New England. He was an avid collector of all things. James was a Marine Corp Veteran, where he spent time over seas and in California. He is a member of the Rotonda Elks organization and has been for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife Donna Sanborn (St.Pierre), brother and sister, Richard Sanborn and wife Jane of Wolfeboro, N.H. and Joyce Pickham and husband Harry of Reno Nevada. James and Donna had 3 children, James and wife Elizabeth from Milton Mills N.H. Daughter Robin Paey, and husband David Paey of Milton N.H. He was predeceased by his son William Sanborn of Sanborville, N.H. He has 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at The Englewood Community Funeral Home, 3070 South McCall Road, Englewood. The family will receive guests at 2:30 PM, until service time at 3:30 PM. A service is also planned in New Hampshire at a future date.
