William Sigsbee Obituary

William James Sigsbee, age 79, passed away on May 12, 2023 surrounded by family in Port Charlotte. Bill was born in Algona, Iowa on November 2, 1943 to Harlan and Esther (Pratt) Sigsbee. He graduated from Algona High School in 1960, and from the University of Iowa in 1965. Bill married his high school sweetheart, Kathrine Louise Feaster, on December 29, 1964. Their son William was born in 1966, followed in 1968 by their daughter Christine.

Bill is survived by his wife Kathrine, his children William Mark (Jenny) Sigsbee of Eden Prairie, MN and Christine Marie (Scott) Monson of Olathe, KS; grandchildren Joel (Emma) Sigsbee, Kelsey (Austin) Jueneman, Alec Sigsbee, Alyssa Monson and Jeremy Monson; great-granddaughter Lydia Jueneman; sisters MaryAnn (Dave) Rasmussen and Jean (Allen) Mackenzie. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Harlan and Esther ("Grace") Sigsbee, his parents-in-law, Wendell & Darlene Feaster and many other much-loved family members and friends who have gone before him.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life in honor of Bill Sigsbee on Monday, July 3rd, 2pm in the Riverwood Community in Port Charlotte at the neighborhood Community Center.
