Dave was my best friend. We grew up playing softball at the Fourth Street Park, basketball at Scudder School, and attending the same college (Cedarville College).
Dave was a brilliant educator with a positive attitude that brought out the best in his students and staff. He found positive ways to encourage his students. He was well known for his ability to develop methods to meet the individual needs of all of his students.
Dave never forgot where he grew up and loved to return to his hometown to see family and old friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Rest in peace, my friend.
