John R. Diddle, 32, passed away on Friday. He was born May 28, 1985 in Portsmouth. He was a machinist at Komar Industries and member of the Ohio military reserve. John attended Crosslink Community Church. He was passionate about his country, the American flag, but most importantly his children.
John is survived by three young children, Eric, Natasha, and Mackenzie; parents, Diana (Dave) Humble, and John (Teresa) Diddle; sisters, Melanie Sammons and Melissa Diddle; brother, Michael Diddle; stepbrothers, Robert Humble and Eric Humble; stepsister, Michelle Cavins; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is also survived the love of his life, Sandy Johnson.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3 with family and friends gathering from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Crosslink Community Church, 4747 Harrisburg Pike, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Pastor Dave Bever will be officiating.
A memorial service will also be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5 at D.W. Swick-Nelson Funeral Home, 1104 Harrisonville Ave., New Boston, Ohio 45662. A gathering of friends will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Crosslink Community Church Building Fund in John's name.
