Johnathon Short-Scaff Obituary
JOHNATHON C. SHORT-SCAFF
PORTSMOUTH-Johnathon Jip Curtis Short-Scaff, 13, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at SOMC Emergency Room. Born September 6, 2000 in Columbus, Ohio, he was a son of Tina and John Short, and Randy and Trisha Scaff. He was a student at Minford Middle School and a member of Victory Baptist Church. Johnathon aka Egghead or Bub by his family, loved all sports, fishing, and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Jip and Sandy Howard, Marvin and Dianna Short and Margaret and Randy Scaff; three sisters, Heaven Short (Scaff), Destinie Short (Scaff) and Destiny McKenzie, and one brother, Dylan "Pickle" Fitzgerald (Short), two aunts, Goldie Bowling and Fonda Sexton; three uncles, Tim Howard (Uncle Bubby), Jeff Short (Uncle Frog) and John Scaff, and several great aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Paul Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Scioto Burial Park in Rushtown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. I ran across this as I was going to sign a guest book of a friend that passed away. I too have a 13 year old. I can't imagine the pain that you must be feeling.
