Robert Temple Obituary
LUCASVILLE – Robert E. Temple, Jr., 62, 1959-2021, of Lucasville, Ohio went to be with the Lord at his residence on June 20, 2021. He was born May 7, 1959 in Portsmouth, Ohio the son of the Robert "Bob" Temple and the late Lenora Temple.
Robert was a 1977 graduate of Portsmouth West High School. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church of Minford and a charter member of Victory Baptist Church of West Portsmouth. He was the owner of SE Supply in Lucasville. He was member of Lucasville Masonic Lodge #465.
Robert is survived by his wife of 18 years, Iliana "Ily" Temple; two sons, Rob Temple III of Lucasville, Carlos (Marisol) Gamboa of San Jose, Costa Rica; daughter, Graciela (Jonathan) Monge of South Carolina. His father Bob (Saundra) Temple of Arlington, Texas and two sisters, Charity (Charles) Whisnant, Debra Temple-Blevins both of McDermott; five grandchildren, Maria Paula and Aurora Monge, Kaiden Temple, Amanda and Carlos Gamboa, Jr.; his aunt and uncle Nelle (Charles) Sonner of Westerville; Aunt Pauline LeMaster of Waverly, as well as nephews, nieces and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24 at Victory Baptist Church in West Portsmouth with David Mora officiating. Burial will follow in Scioto Burial Park. Visitation at the church from Noon until the funeral hour. Arrangements are under the direction of McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville. In lieu of flowers, Ily and the family asks for donations to be made to SOMC Hospice 2201 25th Street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
