JACKSONVILLE, FL-Sandra Kay Wilson, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on November 6th after a long bout with MDS and leukemia.
Sandra (best known to her family as Sandi) was born on August 8th of 1949 to Willie and Juanita Conn in Crum, West Virginia. Her family eventually moved to and settled down in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. After graduating high school Salutatorian, Sandi met and married the love of her life, George Wilson. Together, they celebrated 54 years of marriage.
Together, they had two children, Wayne and Brian. In 2001 Sandy became a grandmother with the birth of Jared and then again in 2003 when Logan came along.
Sandi is predeceased by her parents Willie and Juanita and her brothers Ronnie and Mike Conn. She is survived by her loving husband, George Wilson, her sisters Nellie Campbell, Pam Barnett, Kim Clark, and Tiffany Fannin. Her two sons, Wayne and Brian Wilson, and her daughter-in-law, Andrea Wilson.
Sandi is best known as a caring and loving woman. She had a great relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ and was always making sure everyone was taken care of and not in need of anything. She was a devoted wife, an exceptional mother, and the best sister anyone could wish for. She enjoyed baking and sharing her goodies with her family and anyone with a sweet tooth.
Services will be held at Jacksonville Memory Gardens located at 111 Blanding BLVD in Orange Park, FL, on November 15th at 11AM in the chapel. Family will receive friends prior to the service form 10AM-11AM. .
