Alan Currie Obituary

Alan Roger Currie was born to the late Dr. Clarence R. Currie and Mrs. Mildred R. Currie on March 3, 1963. He departed this earthly life on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 59. He was a 1981 graduate of William A. Wirt High School, Gary , Indiana. Alan's upbringing was founded on faith, family, friends, character, and education. He used all these to pursue his passions of being an actor, comedian, mentor, author, speaker, and professional dating coach. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Indiana University, where he pledged Kappa Alpha Psi like his father before him. He utilized all of his God-given gifts, intelligence, and experience to create his Modeone philosophy that emphasizes the authenticity of the individual in their communications with others. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Jameelah Currie, and son Cayden Walker Currie, his brother Stephen Clarence(Angie) Currie, Aunts Lorraine Nichols and Iris Currie, cousins, friends, and the worldwide followers of the Modeone philosophy. Mr. Currie inspired me to be upfront and honest with men. I admired his wisdom and work. Long live MR.ARC The Living Legend.

Alan taught me the importance of upfront honesty in dealings with all aspects of my life. There´s freedom with direct radical honesty. I thank ARC for that. I bought ALL of his audiobooks as I could not get enough of his clairvoyant wisdom...RIP ARC..

I just heard now that ARC had passed. Though we never met, I listened to him speak for many hours and thoroughly enjoyed his love for life and enthusiasm for relationships, movies, music and this philosophy of life. A true giant in his field. He lives on the hearts of all those who were touched by him and knew him personally. RIP ARC M1!.

Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom, ARC. You are indeed the GOAT. Without you and your knowledge, I would be completely lost. Hearing about your passing was so sudden and heartbreaking that I didn't believe it. I still don't want to believe it. I wish I could've had an opportunity to speak with you in person. My sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones. Till we meet again, ARC. Rest in power. Rest in paradise. Rest in peace.

This is so sad. I learnt so much from him. Just came to check his content today and found he is no more.

Wowwww. I still don't believe this. I just found out today because I had a dream to watch the mode one seminar he did with David x and others. Last time I watched that was in 2012. So it was random. I googled and found out David x had passed away 2020. I was upset. And then I searched to see what's Alan up to. And this??? R.I.P brother. Thank you for your gift and service to all men out there.

I am deeply shocked at the sudden demise of the great ARC..... When I finally decided to sign up for his in-person coaching, I found out he passed away..... He definitely is the big brother I wish I had growing up.... I really wish this wasn't true and he can rise up again from the grave and continue to spread the Mode One gospel.... ARC single handedly changed the discourse of the entire manosphere and he will long be remembered for encouraging men to honest in their dealings with women.....
In honour of the great ARC, I want to shout out his trademark slogan,
Moooooodddddeee One !!!!

To be honest I am shocked and heartbroken by the loss of Alan Roger Currie. His smile, his laughter, his voice, his stories, his solid memory...all will be missed. Even when he annoyed me I loved him. Even when he was mad at me, I loved him. My dear pledge son, you will always have a place in my heart. My prayers are with the Currie blood-family, extended family, friends, students, clients, and colleagues now and for the years to come.

What to say!! Alan touched my life in more ways than I can express despite us having never met. He taught be to self-confident, to own my personality, and to be more authentic in my relationships. I listened to him speak for countless hours in his audiobooks and his legendary BlogTalk Radio show "Upfront and Straightforward". Honest to God, he feels like an uncle figure in my life. Alan accomplished more in his 59 years than most men do in their 79 or 89 years. God bless his family and friends, and God bless Alan Roger Currie!
