Albertene Hill Kellogg

Albertene Hill Kellogg, age 96, left this earth peacefully on Saturday morning, August 18, 2018, to join her husband and immediate family who have been anxiously awaiting her arrival. Albertene "Teenie" Kellogg was born in Coryell County, Texas on May 3, 1922 to Albert Henderson Hill and Florence Annie White. She came into this life, joined by her twin sister, Florene. She was in a large family of 16 children, which included 9 sisters and 7 brothers, all born of Albert Henderson Hill and Florence Annie White. Albertene is the last member of her immediate family to pass away. She graduated high school in Jonesboro, Texas, then attended McNee Business College in Henderson, Texas. After Business College, she went on to work with Consolidated Steel in Orange, Texas, who built ships used during World War II. Albertene met and married Raby Lawrence Kellogg at the end of World War II on March 6, 1946. He was her man and she was his lady. Together, they had three children, Rodney Earl Kellogg, Rhonda Cheryl Kellogg Roosa and Wanda Meryl Kellogg Jennings. Albertene touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Survivors include: Children - Rod Kellogg and wife, Vonda of Princeton, Texas Rhonda Roosa of Midland, Texas, Wanda Jennings and husband, Gordon of Aledo, Texas. Grandchildren - Karen Cook and husband, Hans Cook of Louisville, Kentucky Michelle O'Neal and husband, Patrick O'Neal of Ruston, Louisiana, Lee Riley of Allen, Texas, Matthey Jennings and Brian Jennings of Midland, Texas. Great-grandchildren - Jessica Cook Christina Cook, Hannah Cook all of Louisville, Kentucky, Lena Evangeline (Evie) O'Neal of Ruston, Louisiana, Brian Michael Jennings, Justin Daniel Jennings, Jodi Elizabeth Jennings all of Midland, Texas, Gordon Wendell Jennings, Dana Elaine Jennings all of Midland, Texas. Services are scheduled Friday, August 24, 2018, at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel, 801 Andrews Highway, Midland, Texas, 79701, at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Celebration of Life will be conducted with personal tributes by the family and friends. Pallbearers will be Matthew Jennings, Brian Jennings, Patrick O'Neal, Mike Johnson, Benny Matlock and Wade Clemmons.
