Alexander Wilderness Sr. was born October 9, 1939 in Marston, MO. Pastor Alexander Wilderness Sr. transition out of this life to the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 81 on Saturday, July 17, 2021. Alexander married Christine on September 13, 1960 and to this union three children were born Alexander Jr., Daniel and Carolyn. Pastor Wilderness was preceded in death by his wife Christine, two sons Alexander Jr. and Daniel. Alexander leaves to cherish his memories daughter Carolyn Wilderness Jones of Merrillville, IN; sisters Rose Partee of Sikeston, MO, Vergie Avery of Macon, GA, Farris Avery of Omaha, NE, Darlene Pettigrew of Grove City, OH and Letha (Alonzo) Jenkins of Jefferson City, MO and a host of other relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Cathedral of Hope Church of God in Christ. Visitation 9:00a.m.-11:00a.m. Celebration of Life at 11:00a.m. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
