It was an honor and a priviledge to have known and been a par taker of such a giant in the faith teachings. She has earned her rest and will be missed by so many! We all have joyous memories to sustain us til we meet again.

We are the richer for having her for so long. Condolences to the family and church home.

Rest in Heaven, Madea, I enjoyed our talks we had and how we ate pound cake while Marcy was gone. Laugh out loud.

Annie Ione Amos, or Grandma Amos, as I knew her, was the matriarch of our family. One of the first examples of Christianity to which I was exposed, she was a living epistle of Christ. Her love for her family and people was evident. Memories of her riding down the street on my brother's dirt bike, when she had to be in her sixties, and of her cooking pineapple-coconut cake, spicy cabbage and the greatest hot rolls are still vivid. I am grateful for the stories she shared with us, with most of them ending with her testimony of how good God is and how much he had blessed her. I can still remember her sitting in our kitchen eating her dessert first before dinner, and reading her Bible. I am so grateful to have had her for not only my lifetime, but during a large part of my children's lifetimes. There are too many memories to share here, but they will live on with me and I will continue to share them with my children and future generations. I am comforted by the fact that she has rejoined her husband, Lonnie, my dad and her many loved ones who have gone on to be with the Lord.

To the Family,

102. 102 is a blessing. Don't cry tears of sadness but do cry tears of joy. Think of the good times and smile. May The Creator bring you peace during this time.
