BENITA ELIZABETH MOORE SPEARS
Benita Elizabeth Moore Spears has been missing since October 24, 1989. In an effort to bring temporary closure to our family, we will celebrate her life with a memorial service. We also hope that this event will bring attention to abuse victims, missing persons and the struggles and grief faced by the families they leave behind. Benita is gone but not forgotten. The memorial service will take place on November 28, 2009 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 601 Fillmore Street, Gary, IN, at 5 pm. A fundraiser dinner to benefit the Gary Commission for Women's program, the Rainbow, a shelter for victims of domestic violence, will follow the service. You may also send donations to the Gary Commission for Women/Rainbow Shelter, 839 Broadway, 3rd floor, Gary, IN 46402 or to the National Center for Missing Adults (theyaremissed.org), PO Box 6389, Glendale, AZ 85312 in Benita's memory.
