BRADLEY RUEL
Riverview, Florida
Bradley Ruel, 43, of Riverview, FL, entered into rest July 14, 2009. Born and raised in Hobart, Indiana, Brad lived in Florida for over 20 years. Brad's driving ambition and fearlessness led him to successful ventures. He was the owner and proprietor of Coastline Roofing, which was his trade, and The Wrench, Custom Cycles, which was his passion. Brad's love of custom bike building won him many awards and features in magazines and television. His loves were his wife, his bike building and his family. Brad is survived by his beloved wife of 14 years, Karen; mother, Effie Ruel; father, Kenneth Ruel and wife Debbie; brothers, Brent and Bryan Ruel; his faithful dog, Trumbull, and a large extended family and many friends. A memorial service will be held 11 A.M., Monday, July 20, 2009 at St. Stephen Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, July 19, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Dearest Karen,
We are so deeply saddened to hear about Brad's passing. There are no words that really seem adequate in a time like this. Know that you have been in our thoughts and prayers all alone since mom and dad shared the devesatating news with us. They told us the services for Brad were absolutly beautiful and that the outpouring of love from friends and family has been incredible. We are all so blessed to have the supportive and loving families we have. I found this web site while doing a search about Brad. I sure am impressed by his accomplishments and by the number of lives he touched in his short life. Know that we love you and will continue to keep you and all of Brad's family in our prayers. We'll talk soon. Peace, love & light,
Bill & Rick

Karen, I have read so many great words about Brad - everybody loved him. I will always remember the generous and determined man that loved you so very much. I will always think about Brad, each time we ride the bikes and he's not with us. Life is not always fair and tradegy sometimes put things in perspective in a weird way. Brad was always there for any and everybody and will be greatly missed. Ric and I are so sorry and we are just a phone call away.

Karen, I am so incredibly sorry for your unimaginable loss. Brad was a wonderful man who touched many lives. I will always remember his quick wit and gentle spirit but above all I will remember the great love he had for you. I know the times ahead will be unbelievably difficult but I hope you can find some peace knowing what a positive and lasting influence he had on all who knew him. I am here for you night or day, whenever you need me. Till then my thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. Love you.

I only saw Brad once or twice when he was very young, but I knew his father, Ken very well and can only imagine his and the entire family's sadness. I know his parents must have been very proud of the man Brad had become. My sincere condolences.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Brad was the best boss I ever worked for. He always came through on what he told me and was always a freind. I will miss Brad greatly. I had alot of fun times hanging out at bike shows or just at the shop after work shooting the bull. The world has really lost a great ego and person.

Several years ago my husband, my little boy who is now 11 and myself went to the bike show in Timonium, MD. My little guy Trenton proceeded to try and talk and ask questions with every bike builder there. Brad was the only one that took the time to have a wonderful conversation with my little boy. Since then they have emailed and talked on the phone many times. Brad continued to inspire Trenton to get good grades and be a good person. My son and my family are heart broken over the loss of such a wonderful, caring person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
