Deacon Christopher Yates "Chris" passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Internal Security Services, Somebody Closet Clothing Ministry, Marriage Ministry, Men's Ministry. He was a former employee of Altom Transport, Mark International Security, School City of East Chicago, Wise Choice Limousine Service and Eclipse Limo Service. He is preceded in death by Mother Maude Yates, Father Ernest Yates, Jr., and brother Eddie Madison. He leaves to cherish his precious memories loving and devoted wife Adrian Yates, brother Ernest (Sherry) Yates III; father-in-law Abraham Mosley; sisters-in-law Shirley Madison, Debora Yates, and Belinda Mosley; brother-in-law Abraham "Boone" Mosley, Jr.; nieces Tawana Madison, Tahnee Fair; nephew Ernest (Tanesha) Yates, IV and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Monday, August 30, 2021 from 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11:00a.m. All services at the Trinity United Church of Christ. Rev Dr. John E. Jackson, Sr. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.
