Dad... It's been three months and to be honest; it's not getting any easier. I think of you often and remember your "Poppyisms" daily. I would give anything to be able to talk to you again if just to say "goodbye" properly. To give you the hug that you deserve for being the best father anyone could have asked for. I miss your advice, your wit, even just hearing you snore when you would fall asleep on the couch. It doesn't seem fair to have lost you. I love you dad

My Dear Dan(Dan Dan)& Bob (Orange Juice Face),
I get to call you these nicknames that were from your childhood as I was one of your very first babysitters.
I am sending you (((Hugs))) and my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your dear, dear Dad.
I have the memory of an elephant from our years together on Belden Avenue in Chicago during the 70's. Ah, so many great memories too !
A very special one was how much your Dad loved you both and how proud he was of his 2 small sons as he was a "brand new father!" You were his joy and I am so glad to have been a part of that through those early years.
I am so sorry for your loss.
I Love You Both so much and know you have grown into 2 men that made their father proud !
An old saying rings true here:

Poppy,
So much to say, so many thoughts, so many questions and feelings left silent. My thoughts always return to a recurring theme, my family and I are better people for having you in our lives. I had the privilege of working with you and having you as a close friend for the past 15 years. I hope to have as profound an effect on my family as you have had on yours, you did a great job as a father and have left a wonderful family. Knowing you as I do, that will be the highest compliment I can pay you and I am sure you are smiling. Love you and honored to be considered an "honorary" Victor.

Ra,
I could begin to express how much I loved you and how much you meant to me and the boys! You are the best dad a girl could have ever asked for! You believed in me and stood by me and didn't give up. I'll be forever thankful for all you have shown me and done for me. I wouldn't be the woman and mother I am today without the love and support I had from you and my mom! I had the best parents in the world because I had you two! You were an amazing grandpa to the boys and they loved you with all their hearts! I will miss you and think about you always! When I live my life it will to make you proud! You are my greatest hero! I know you and mom are in heaven watching over us and will be with us always!
I love you always dad
Forever in my heart your munchkin Danielle

As I sit here and reflect on all that you have given to me over life

My sense of humor
My work ethic
My intelligence and logic
My constant fear for my children's safety
Sense or lack of sense of direction

As I sit here with a tear in my eye but laughter in my heart thinking of past stories. I know you have given me all the strength and knowledge to help the family get through this time.

I love you and will miss you........ poppy, p-man, chief, old man
