DERRICK BEY "Lil D" Chicago, IL Derrick Lamont Bey, 29, died Sunday, February 3, 2008. He was born March 13, 1978, in Gary, IN, the son of Benjamin Bey and Karen Ketthavong. He was a member of the Elgin Westside Church of Christ. He will be loved and missed by his 2 children: daughter, Alize Bey, and son, Demari Bey, of Elgin, IL. He is also survived by his mother, Karen D. Ketthavong of Chicago, IL; father, Benjamin (DeeDee) Bey of Gary, IN; brothers, Terrence D. (LaToya) Bey of Gary, IN, Xavier S. Visitation for Friends will be held Friday, February 8, 2008 from 5 - 8 p.m. at O'Connor-Leetz Funeral Home, 364 Division St., Elgin, IL 60120. Family visitation will be Saturday, February 9, 2008, from 9 - 11 a.m. at the Westside Church of Christ, 12N266 Randall Road, Elgin, IL 60123. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
