Hello My Heavenly Angel,
This is your Mom. I miss you so much. Today is your one-year Heavenly anniversary. We celebrated it on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 @ Jedi's Restaurant. A few of your homies were there too.
Today, Bud and the Smith family are honoring you and Brandon with a Memorial Banner on 27th & Chase (where the accident occurred) and having a vigil this evening at 7 pm.
Your sister (Kristian) wrote a poem and we put it in the paper today to honor you as well.
You were such a good young-man and why it had to be you, we will probably never know. Though we have to trust God and His plans and know that you are in good care. I will re-quote a quote I heard from Ant White's mother that God is choosing His starting line-up and He doesn't want any junk.
You definitely wasn't junk. You were an angel while you were alive and you have graduated and received your wings. I am so sorry that I misunderstood you and couldn't see that you were truly different than any other child I know.
I love you and I am waiting for the day when we will meet again. I want you to give me a big hug and to see that special smile of yours. I also, want to hear "Wat up Ma Dukes" or "Wat up Famlay" when you greet me.
Until then continue to be our guardian angel and protect us from the hurt, harm, and danger that is before us.
We will miss you forever.

Hey Dommo, this your lil cousin Jazz. I just wanna say that I miss you so much!! I miss all the times you came to Cincinnati to stay with us for the summer and when we came to see yall. I remember at the family reunions we use to play fight you, my mama, your mama, auntie Rhonda, Natasha, Krissy, Miguel and everybody else. I just miss all the times we use to dance. I use to kill you in dancing..Im a beast but I learned from the best..You and Miguel. Haha I remember when you and krissy was roasting each other that summer of '05 yal had me weak. I just wish you were here rite now and I just wish I could text you or call you and be like "tru" cause I know you couldnt stand that word. I believe that you are a blessing sent to everyone who lives you touched. I am very blessed to have had you as my Big Cuzo.. I miss and you and we taking care of business down here..You know me. Dearest Dommo,
19 years ago, today, I gave birth to a beautiful bouncing baby boy and we named him Dominique. He brought tears to my eyes (as with every other child of mine) because he was so gorgeous. YET, I knew it was something special about him. He was always smiling and he always did something to make me smile. That baby boy, yet he, grew up never stopped making me smile - but he also made other people smile. With his boyish charm and playful ways people attached themselves to him because they saw the "gift" in him. God blessed me with such a rare gift that I am ever so grateful. And though, his life was completed on Earth on September 15, 2007 -- he is fulfilling his destiny in HEAVEN!
This young man that I speak of so highly is none other than my precious son (now my ANGEL) Dominique Ra'Shaad Green.
Today I give God the honor and the praise because you touched my life in so many ways and though you aren't hear in the physical -- you are in spirit. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BELOVED SON! I truly miss you!!!!

This is to my son - Dominique Ra'Shaad Green - my angel. I sign this book today in honor of your memory, love, smile, and more. I LOVE YOU!!! Today is Thanksgiving Day (exactly 2 months since you passed away) and you aren't here to share it with us. I am saddened by your absence but blessed by your spirit. The word Thanks and Giving has a new meaning to me now that you are gone. I am so "thankful" for being able to share 18 years of your life with you. The times we prayed together, laughed together, played together, cried together, and danced together. Thank you. I am so grateful to God for "giving" me, your siblings, and the entire Green/Webster family 18 years of wonderful memories with you. We miss you so much and we know we will see you again. My heart and prayers go out to Domonique's family during this most difficult of times. I also lost my 18 yr. old son last year in a car crash when he was coming home with 3 of his friends late at night. I have no magic words to heal your grief, but I do care about your loss and truly understand a lot of what you are feeling. May God bless you all.

My sincerest condolences to the Green family and friends of Dominique...the story of these four friends has brought me to tears for you all and I just wanted to let you know you are in my heart. My nephew was killed at age 16 by a hit and run driver... I know how wrong it is for a parent to bury their child.. for a teenager to bury their friend.. what a tragedy.. know that you are not alone in your grief and are thought of in many hearts.
