Donvell Antwain Edwards, born December 19, 1990 in Gary, Indiana, entered eternal rest unexpectedly on August 7, 2021. Donvell was a dedicated seasonal employee at Industry One in Merrillville, Indiana and currently a full-time employee at The Second City Comedy Theater in Chicago, Illinois. Donvell was preceded in death by his beloved father, Odis Luke Edwards, natural mother, Telisa Evette Turner, and paternal grandmother, Doris Hall. He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Kourtney Edwards, mother, Daphnie Harris Wheeler(James), maternal grandfather, Harlee Turner Sr., maternal grandmother, Sara Lake, 1 sister, N'Kesia Edwards Nelson(Cody), 6 brothers, Brian Edwards, Marc Edwards(Deidre), Odis Edwards Jr.(Jenny), Jason Edwards(Amy), Tyrell Turner, his devoted brother Martell Lamar Edwards, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and cherished extended family, Regina Weatherspoon and Nathaniel Williams. Visitation Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 12:00 noon -8:00p.m. with family hours from 6-8:00 p.m. Funeral services Friday August 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. all services at the Guy & Allen Chapel 2959 West 11th Avenue, Gary, Indiana 46404.
